Dr. Alexandra Salazar is a physician and surgeon graduated from the University of Antioquia (UdeA), Colombia, with more than 24 years of experience in medical practice in both public and private healthcare institutions. She currently serves as Medical Director of Hairfix, where she leads advanced hair restoration treatments with a comprehensive, scientific, and personalized approach for each patient.

Throughout her career, Dr. Salazar has developed strong expertise in trichology, hair transplantation, and non-surgical aesthetic medicine, fields in which she has more than 12 years of clinical experience. Her medical philosophy focuses on delivering natural-looking results that respect each patient’s facial harmony and unique features.

Over the past eight years, she has been deeply dedicated to the study and treatment of hair and scalp disorders, gaining extensive knowledge of the most advanced hair restoration techniques. She has participated in hair transplant procedures in Colombia, Australia, India, and several countries across Latin America, performing more than 1,000 hair transplants and helping transform the lives of over 6,000 patients through treatments that restore not only their hair, but also their confidence and self-esteem.

Her training includes studies in integrative medicine, functional medicine, regenerative therapies, and advanced trichology, allowing her to approach hair health from a holistic perspective that considers medical, metabolic, and aesthetic factors.

Dr. Salazar is also actively involved in medical education, teaching trichology and hair micro-transplant techniques to physicians nationally and internationally. She remains committed to continuous scientific advancement through her participation in specialized medical associations focused on hair restoration.
