I had an excellent experience with HairFix Mexico from beginning to end. The team supported me well before the procedure, including discussing medications and preparation several months in advance, and they worked around my schedule when booking the surgery. I had 2,591 follicular units transplanted, representing 6,641 hairs. Because I had advanced Norwood 5A hair loss, the team was very realistic about what could be accomplished in one session. We prioritized density through the frontal scalp and part of the mid-scalp, while leaving most of the crown for a future procedure. The surgery itself was a long session, but everything was organized extremely well. The nearby hotel arrangement was convenient, breakfast was included, and the entire team made the process straightforward and comfortable. My follow-up care has also been excellent. I am now approximately seven and a half months post-op and am very pleased with my progress. The hairline has developed well, the transplanted hairs are continuing to thicken and mature, and the donor area is essentially undetectable. I have had no complications and have received many positive comments about the result. I am looking forward to seeing the continued maturation over the next several months and expect to return to HairFix for a second procedure focused on the crown and any additional refinement needed in the front. I am three weeks out from my hair transplant, and I could not be happier with the experience. The clinic team was phenomenal, designing a natural hairline that perfectly fits my face. The surgery itself was virtually painless after the initial numbing injections, allowing me to relax and watch the World Cup game. Recovery is going smooth, with the minor swelling and redness completely clearing up by the end of the first week. Now on week three, sweeling is completly gone and i am just dealing with the expected redness and itchiness in the donor area. Choosing Hairfix Mexico was one of the best decisions I've made. I traveled from California for my procedure, and the entire team treated me like family. They answered every question I had before, during, and after surgery, and I never felt like I was on my own once I got home. I'm currently about six months into my hair restoration journey, and I'm already seeing great progress. I know there's still more growth to come, but I'm very encouraged by my results so far. I can’t express the happiness. I am with my hair transplant now that it’s fully grown in. I was very skeptical in the beginning with you doing this. I had several friends go before I took the jump and I am so happy and so pleased with the results that I would do this 20 times over again! Just got back from my 3 days in TJ at HairFix with Dr. Irving Hernandez. The overall experience was amazing. They picked me up in a Tesla at San Diego Airport and drive you across the border. The hotel you stay at is beautiful (check in at 3pm, I flew in a little early) and surrounded by a few restaurants with good food, (try the tacos at La Fabrica Tacos across the street, you can’t miss it). The staff was great and spoke English which made it even better. The procedure is done by a doctor rather than under the supervision of one (a lot of clinics in Turkey are doing this), and the nurses do the follicle sorting. It’s a 1 day procedure, extraction then lunch then the procedure. All in all, almost a 12 hour day but they played Netflix movies to pass the time. They give you everything you need for recovery, from medications to specific instructions. The next day the bandage comes off and you are washed. Following that, I had my final meeting with Dr. Hernandez to talk about aftercare and answer any further questions. This was a great experience and saved a lot of money and time rather than going across the globe to Turkey to get the same procedure with the same techniques. Went back in January and was pretty skeptical of the results the first few months....but now six months in my hair is thicker and fuller than it has been since my early 20's! Super happy with the results and the overall experience. I'd say if you're considering doing it....don't wait. I felt very comfortable when I had the hair procedure. The staff were nice and supportive from start to finish . I did not feel pain while the hair was being implanted on my head . The doctor at the clinic was knowledgeable and kind. He was realistic about what could be done, and did not make any exaggerated claims. He was also very skilled with an artistic eye. Everyone at the clinic was very friendly and professional. As a US citizen with a lot of experience at clinics and hospitals in USA, I was very impressed with how streamlined and thought out the process was. The facilities were excellent. The cost savings compared with the same procedure in USA was significant but there was no compromise with quality of service, and I would imagine that the service was better than what is offered at many USA locations. Turkey is a location some US citizens go to for this procedure to save money, but I would recommend anyone considering traveling out of their city to consider Hairfix in Tijuana! Hair fix has the best staff. The service is always amazing Dr Moreno & Dr Lizabeth did a great job with my procedure. The staff that welcomed me made me feel comfortable.
